Lage Raho Munnabhai is funny. It’s serious.
It’s a comedy. It’s what comedies used to be.
It’s the kind of movie that makes me feel that there are some more intelligent movie makers out there and we needn’t only look at the classics or oldie’s to really enjoy honest entertainment with a simple, social message. Whew! I never thought I could write such serious stuff about movies. A humourous one, at that.
But please, stop listening to me … and go out an watch this movie. For all you non-Hindi speakers … still go out to an Indian cinema theatre and watch it … the english subtitles are almost as good.
