Whats Your Web 2.0?

4 May 2007 at 4:51 pm | Techy, Ideas/Work

After a good chunk of last year being spent on the Web 2.0 hoopla (2.0 what, you ask?! See dictionary.com:hoopla) I think there might be some strong websites that came out of the hype and became a part of everyday work!

My Web 2.0 sites …

Daily Use: Google Blog Reader, Wordpress, Google Calendar, Windows Live Writer, Google Docs, Facebook, LinkedIn

Weekly Use: Flickr, Wikipedia, Digg, YouTube, Twitter, Orkut, Technorati

Monthly Use: MyBlogLog,

Tag, you’re it!
So, Whats Your Web 2.0?
    Surabhi
    Suramya
    Arwind
    Nevil (where’s your blog, bro?)
    Jace
Dipika (wooah, the only one in this list not a techie!)
    Jim (yes, George, you)

Rules:
1) Link to the original post and my own blog post.
2) Create a list of Web 2.0 sites that you use Daily, Weekly and Monthly
3) Tag a few more people in your buddylist

This list just goes to show, after all the hungama of so many new sites launching each day/week/month … how few we really use on an everyday basis!

Of course, some sites that I also use but haven’t listed here are the old-fashioned types … such as google’s search engine, slickdeals.net, and engadget!

Pardon my ignorance but what is this “tag” business that the two of you have been doing? I’m particularly slow when it comes to understanding any new developments on the internets.

It is nto fair to pick on someone who is not a techy :(

BTW: What is this Tag business?

  5. Vinit

This tag business (for those too lazy to google it or just get it) is this …

If someone you know “tags” you, then you have to continue the chain and write about/answer the topic put forth. And in turn, “tag” others you know but who haven’t already been tagged.

You know, like the game. You’re it!
