Divorce rates: whats with them?

13 December 2006 at 7:26 pm | Personal, Cool people

Surabhi and I get married next month. Yup, thats how much bachelor time I have left.

And whats this? A post titled “Divorce rates”. Whats going on?
It’s just that suddenly, topics related to weddings, married life, etc are more than just academically interesting to me. After all, just a month or so, right?

Well, this article I just read about how the legal system benefits from divorces was an eye-opener. It’s got some serious facts that are never publicized. All in all, pretty coherent writing, abusive words aside.

  1. Anomalizer

Isn’t this the domestic version of a severance package?

US&A has a very interesting concept of fixing phsycological damage: Buy the vitcim a house in Beverly Hills and stack it up with Bordeaux.

That would be alimony. You could comapre it to child support too i guess.

The idea behind both is good. But without people who are willing to voice their issues and stand up for themselves, they have become more of a social menace.
