MapLib.net great new mashup of GoogleMaps

I just played around with MapLib.Net a cool new mashup that uses Google Maps for some really innovative work.

It allows you to upload any photo to the service and use that photo as the “map” or background for a new Google Map. So you can zoom in/out, add markers (those red balloons) and even add notes.

Then you can share your newly created map with everyone using a simple link like this “http://www.maplib.net/map.php?id=109
or include it on a website like this …
