I hate it with people try to refer to my black friends as african-american.

I take the stairs instead of the elevator (lifts) not because stairs are healthy, but because I am too impatient to wait for the elevator.

Hell yeah! Agree on both counts.
More strongly with the first one though. First, why is everyone considered to be of African descent? Second, if so, aren’t we all? Third, what are people everywhere else in the world supposed to use? Indian-African? Swedish-African? Bah.
This was a funny story while it lasted.
