Magdeburg Water Bridge, Germany

For sanity’s sake, lets just call it a Water Bridge ??!!!

Those Germans sure know their engineering!!!

Time to completion: Six years
Cost of construction: 500 million euros
Length: 918 Meters

Germany’s Elbe river now has a bridge crossing over it that joins the former East
and West Germany. It is located in (through?) the city of Magdeburg, near Berlin.
The photo was taken on the day of inauguration.

Some of the info is from a commonly forwarded email … also from Wikipedia and DW-World.
