Apple FrontRow vs. Windows Media Center

13 October 2005 at 10:38 am | Cool people, Techy

Ok, so Apple goes ahead and releases a single software that pretty much undermines most of the push behind Microsoft’s Media Center Edition of Windows XP.

WooHoo!

I could almost go ahead and whisper that Apple copied M$, but wait … they converted an entire M$ OS into a single program … and they converted a convulted multi-button remote (something I could never imagine my grandparents using) to a simple do-few-things-and-do-them-right-style!

Now’s the time to get a Mac Mini, get FrontRow on it (if possible) get the Apple remote (Mini does IR, I wish!) and connect it to a decent LCD Projector.

Engadget says so! Gizmodo says so!
