CrossFire Pricing

9 May 2004 at 6:25 pm | General

Just read Code for the Road on PC Mag.
Good overview of different (choices: Java or M$) development platforms for pda’s and smartphones.

Of the products reviewed, one thing that stinks is that AppForge’s CrossFire is a great product, priced incorrectly.
I mean, there is a $25 per-device licensing fee. In a market where the average application sells for $19.99 on Handango, how do you expect to remain competitive if you shell out 25 bucks just to the development tools guys?

Tell me if i’m mistaken, but this pricing alienates customers.
